how to add plugins to wordpress
hi this video is about how to add a lightboxvideo gallery to wordpress so i spent hours trying to find a wordpressplugin that would display myyoutube videos as a gallery on my web page.most of the free ones added a watermark plus had limited features.finally i came across a great plugin called huge-it video gallery.herman drost drostdesigns.com here's a demo showing the 4 options of lightboxvideo gallery: 1.content pop-upclick on of these and it shows a video and then the content next to it2. content video slider so you've got video here and i click on thisarrow then it shows extra videos.
3. lightbox video galleryif you click on any one of these videos then it pops up in a lightbox and if you go downthe bottom here you can just scroll through the different videos in the gallery4. video slider you've got the first video here.you click on this arrow. it shows the next video, next video, nextvideo, etc. 5. thumbnail galleryso if you click on any of these thumbnails then a lightbox pops up and you can scrollthrough them by clicking this arrow at the bottom.here are the steps to create a lightbox video gallery on wordpresslog into your wordpress dashboard
go down to pluginsclick add new in the search box search huge-it video gallery..hereit is i've installed it alreadyyou click install now..here it is video gallery in the dashboardclick video gallery i've got a couple of galleries here alreadyclick add new video gallery over here you can select the different optionsthumbnails view, lightbox video gallery, video slider, the content video slider and videogallery content pop-up i'll do the lightbox video galleryclick on that option i'm going to start adding my videos so justclick add video
i'm going to go to my youtube videos and selectthis video i just highlight the urli paste it in the top here and here in the bottom then i'm going to give it a title,description click insert video slideok here it is then i just continue adding more now i've got three different videos so i checkthe lightbox video gallery save it and i've got the short code here...justhighlight that go to my pages, all pages, sample page, editcopy and paste it into here make sure in text mode not visual modethen i click update
